What if I have more questions?

If you have any questions, we are more than happy to answer! Please email us at scharf.bleser.wedding@gmail.com, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please note, the email will only be monitored up to July 22nd, as we will be busy with preparations on the day of.

Why is your wedding on a Friday?

When we selected our dream venue, the only summer 2027 date still available was a Friday. We appreciate your efforts to join us, as we understand that a Friday wedding means taking time away from work and your routine. Your presence means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring my kids?

No, although we love all the little ones in the family, this will be an adult (18+) only event. We encourage you to treat the evening as a date night and fully enjoy the evening of dining and dancing without responsibilities. We hope you will understand our decision to make our wedding child-free and take the opportunity to enjoy a night off.

When does the reception end?

The reception goes until 12:30 AM, and Ryan and I aim to be out on the dance floor until the lights come up. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all night long!

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Yes, your vehicle can be left at Orchard View overnight, but it must be picked up by 10:00 AM on Saturday, or it will be at risk of being towed, as there will be another wedding at the venue that afternoon.

Will there be a shuttle to the hotels?

Yes, a shuttle will be provided to take out-of-town guests from the hotel to the church, then to Orchard View, and trips back to the hotel throughout the night. More information will be provided about the timeline as details are confirmed.

What is the dress code?

We encourage you to wear cocktail attire and use the opportunity to glam up for the evening. Cocktail is less rigid than formal attire and includes things like knee-length or long dresses and suits and ties. Feel free to wear the patterns or colours you feel best in!

How do I RSVP?

An RSVP card will be included with the invitation that will be sent out in the spring. A separate envelope with the address and stamp will also be provided for the RSVP card.

Will it be a full Mass?

Yes, we are doing a full Nuptial Mass, which will last around 30-45 minutes.

What if I am not familiar with Catholic Mass?

A program with the parts of the Mass and congregation responses will be provided at the church doors so that you can follow along and participate throughout the ceremony.
